My name is Tom I’m Urban explorer. Particularly into the roofs, although I can explore all kinds of different things, I started to explore alone to make a series of them to render during my studies in photography. Everything is done very naturally over time, now I only take out my camera to immortalize my missions. I see the photo as a start again because some missions represent a lot of work and risk-taking. Now I only live for that, to travel, explore and also meet people from the same community which is probably the best feeling, hard to explain, only people belonging can understand I think.
What is a memory attached to one of the images shared?
Climbing the Vatican with my friend and also it was my duo in the exploration. We did so many locations together and start together too , but the Vatican and our most beautiful mission and also the craziest.
What’s in your bag?
I use a Canon 6d mark 2 With a Samyang 14mm F2.8 I have also 24-70mm F2.8 but I use my 14mm 90% of the Time , I use also Dji mini 2 and a 360 camera insta one R For the tools I always have my knipex key on me with wires and also screwdriver and a small crowbar.
Did photography lead you to exploring or did exploring lead you to photography?
Why do you explore?
Photography lead me to exploring for sure.
For living life and it feels free in this increasingly closed system, to give me goals and see things that no one can see even with money. Also it is the best way to travel in the world, meet new people, hit new locations and create more good memories.
