What is a memory attached to one of the images shared?
A few seconds after this photo was taken security ran around the corner. We grabbed our gear and hauled ass down 25+ floors. Got to the ground and two wanna be heroes tried to grab us. Everyone made it past them, but I was the last and ended up getting snatched by my jacket. Guy had a gun in his hand and insisted that he was a cop. After a few minutes I realized there was a security camera pointing at us, and was only pretending to be a cop. with my hands up, I told him I’m going to split and if he wants to shoot, that camera is pointed right at him. Luckily he was more out of shape than I was and I booked it out of there.

Did photography lead you to exploring or vice versa?
Why do you explore?
Photography lead me to exploring. I’m an artist by trade, and my paintings focus on urban environments. I use photography as a starting point for my work. So as I started looking at more unconventional spaces, I took my camera with me to document what I saw. Things kind of grew from there.
I’m restless and curious. I like seeing how the world is built, what’s under me, what’s above me, what’s around me. I like seeing the world from different perspectives. I’ve always been surprised at people who are content to just look at what’s put in front of them without wondering what’s behind the curtain.
