What is a memory attached to one of the images shared?
I remember very well our last trip to Chornobyl, when we were on the abandoned 5th reactor of the station. Sunrise, fresh summer wind, the smell of the Soviet power plant and a completely post-apocalyptic world around. Such moments are not forgotten.
What’s in your bag?
It depends on the action. I try to use as few things as possible and focus on the process. I take my beloved Sony R7II on rooftops and in tunnels, an iPhone is enough as a video camera. Trainsurfing, only gopro cam. Also, wet wipes and lockpicks are always useful.
Did photography lead you to exploring or vice versa?
Why do you explore?
Exploring lead me to photography. Only the new experience motivate me to get the camera and press the button.
Life is too short to be afraid to look beyond the horizon.
